Sugarcane Harris - Berlin 11-4-71

Description

Here is something special: On November 4th, 1971 Don "Sugarcane" Harris did a highly acclaimed concert during a festival ("Jazztage") in Berlin, Germany which resulted in a LP called "Sugarcane`s Got The Blues" (at least three of the four tracks) . 

The whole concert had been recorded by a radio station but unfortunately they didn`t keep all the tapes. Good news is, that besides those three tracks on the above mentioned LP (which has been released on CD only a few years ago) there are three more tracks available which had been broadcasted over the radio but -to my knowledge- never have been released officially. 

So here they are in excellent sound quality and with a uncommonly bluesy Wofgang Dauner on keyboards (and Neville Whitehead on bass, Volker Kriegel on guitar and Robert Wyatt (!) on drums). Hope you`ll like it!
